Winter Session

Winter 2011/12 is here. With the conclusion of the Fall 11 season this past weekend we can now begin the Winter season.
We will have a modified version of past off season tournaments. This winter we will offer 8 v 8, which will allow those teams that just can't get the participation from players it needs to field a 11 player squad. As with all Summer and Winter seasons there will be no affiliation and teams will have the ability to tryout and recruit new talent for the promotion/relugation seasons (Spring and Fall). The season will consist of 6 guaranteed games and then a championship single elimination playoff. Games will be played on Sundays (5 and 7pm start times). They will utilize a single ref to minimize cost.
The total cost will be $ 900/team and the first 10-12 teams to register and pay (online) will be guaranteed a spot. This is open to NVSL teams and outside teams alike. Priority will be given to NVSL teams. Registration and payment are due by 7 January 2012. Games begin 14 January 2012.
Gather your friends and teamates and stay fit this winter. It could be a great way to shed those added holiday pounds and an opportunity to unify, build, and strengthen your team prior to the Spring season.
