Misc. Items before the AGM meeting Thurs. 21st

As you all know the NVSL has been working towards an online payment that will allow you to pay with a credit card. We are finally there, however the system is not quite up. It should be up as of Wed. afternoon/evening and if it is not it will be up for use on Thurs. If you are planning on using this method of payment please print out the payment verification and bring it to the meeting Thurs. night. If you are a new team you will not be able to use this method until the meeting. We will have a computer at the meeting for new teams to use this method and make the payment.
All managers should have a completed registration with hand signatures with them at the meeting. The registrations that were sent to the secretary will not take the place of having one with you. If you have sent in a hard copy to the PO Box then you are ok. All teams will have a representative at the meeting and they will stay for the duration of the meeting. We have a lot of things to discuss that affect the teams. No teams will be represented by a manager or representative of another team! If you have requested space for practice (during the meeting) then it is highly recommended that you have a representative at the meeting. Teams will be penalized for lack of representation at the meeting and it may include not being able to take part in the fall season.
There will be a buffet of appetizers that is provided by the league, however the bar/drinks are not. If you would like to purchase drinks the bar will be serving alcohol as well as non-alcoholic drinks. Please no more than 2 representatives from each team and only one will have a vote.
DC United (Jim Hogan) will be at the meeting. A game filmer for those who would like to get your games filmed, and various sponsors will be there. We will also have other speakers to discuss changes we have and continuing to make. If you have an issue or topic that needs to be discussed please send an email to John Eskandary the President. We hope to keep this meeting short, but also informative.
Please check for updates before you leave work by checking the website or your email. We may have other items to put out. Don't forget we will be starting at 6:30 pm so please arrive early. PJ Skidoos is off of Rte 50 just past Fairfax Circle and is across from Fairfax High School.
